1848 Winery introduces Second Generation Rosé 2025, a dry and elegant Israeli rosé that continues the fresh, Mediterranean, and precise style that has become the hallmark of the Second Generation series.

The wine is composed of 70% Grenache and 30% Caladoc, a combination that produces a rosé of remarkable freshness, fruit expression, and balance. Grenache contributes the wine’s juicy character, pale, elegant color, and vibrant fruit aromas reminiscent of red-fruit candies and pink grapefruit. Caladoc adds depth, structure, and presence, while bringing freshness and well-defined acidity that balance the fruit and create a more complex, focused profile.

Second Generation Rosé 2025 displays a pale salmon hue alongside aromas of red grapefruit, peach, and cherry. The palate offers refreshing white peach flavors, leading to a clean, fruit-driven, and invigorating finish.

In recent years, Second Generation Rosé has become one of the winery’s most recognizable and beloved wines, celebrated for a style perfectly suited to the Israeli climate, Mediterranean hospitality, and local cuisine.

The wine previously earned an impressive 90-point score at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards, one of the wine world’s most respected competitions, reinforcing its position as one of Israel’s leading rosé wines.

Second Generation Rosé continues to embody the philosophy of 1848 Winery: approachable, precise, and enjoyable wines that balance freshness, elegance, and contemporary Mediterranean character.
