Merlot 2018 – GOLDEN Medal – Best Value 2020
Best Value Competition is all about the wines that provide the best value for money (up to NIS 79). The BEST VALUE competition took place, for the 12th year in a row, ahead of Passover when wine sales are at their peak. This year, in the face of the economic crisis, the results of the competition are especially important!
In 2020 year, more than 150 Israeli wines were sent to the competition, priced between NIS 25 and NIS 79. The wines were blind tasted by a team of 20 judges that included sommelier, winemakers and professional tasters.
Our Merlot 2018 – 2nd Generation won the highest price – Golden Medal.
* The color of the wine is dark red with aromas of cherries and ripe red fruits flavors accompanied by touches of toasted wood. The wine is full of flavors with a medium body and a pleasant fruity finish. It aged for 10 months in oak barrels.
